Ch-ch-ch-changes

If you’ve been around Fleurish lately you know we are experiencing a TON of changes this summer. We felt it was necessary to clue everyone in on what’s happening.

Let’s talk space…

It’s been over a year since we have offered in-person sessions at our Fleurish office in downtown Decatur. During that time our team has grown, and we outgrew that space. While we’ve been holding sessions virtually, we found a bigger space, packed up the old office, and started renovating! As of this blog post, we are under construction at the new space that Fleurish will call home (hopefully in September). When we re-open for in-person sessions (date TBD) we will be at 3033 N. Decatur Rd, Scottdale, GA 30079. We are very excited to not only be back in person but to host you in a new office!

Those of you who have enjoyed the convenience of teletherapy — don’t fret! We will continue to offer distance therapy indefinitely.

Let’s talk staff…

As I mentioned we outgrew our old office space, so we have added (and are still looking to add) more amazing clinicians to our team. We have also had some of our therapists move on to other ventures this year. We want to continue expanding our team to offer more services to our clients, so you will notice some new faces around, including some new administrative staff. See all of our faces here.

Let’s talk services…

With our changes in clinical staff, we are able to offer some different services. Most notably, we are opening up to people between 14-18 years old. Historically we have been a center for adults (18+) only, so this is a big move for us. Jazmine Barnes and Lauteasha Williams will both have openings for this age group beginning later in August.

We recently had to pause taking new families and couples, but are excited to announce that Jazmine and Lauteasha will both be taking on new couples, and Lauteasha will be offering family therapy, though she has a focus on family treatment of eating disorders.

Let’s talk change…

As therapists — and humans — we know that change can be exciting, but also hard to adjust to, especially when so much comes at one time. If you ever have any questions or concerns about the changes we are experiencing, we wholeheartedly invite you to reach out to your therapist or our leadership team (info@fleurishpsychotherapy.com).

We are hopeful that all of these changes will help us to offer better services to more people, and we invite you along for the ride!
