  • Holistic Wellness: Let's take a holistic approach to your well-being and embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. In our therapeutic journey, we embrace a holistic approach that recognizes the intricate connection between mental and physical health, viewing them as inseparable aspects of overall well-being. Our approach goes beyond simply addressing symptoms; instead, we focus on understanding and nurturing the interplay between your mind and body. Through mindfulness practices, breathwork, and somatic experiencing techniques, we facilitate a deeper awareness of how your thoughts and emotions manifest physically in your body. By integrating evidence-based therapies like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with lifestyle interventions such as exercise, nutrition, and sleep hygiene, we empower you to take actionable steps towards holistic wellness. Together, we'll explore how your lifestyle choices, habits, and coping strategies impact both your mental and physical health, fostering a balanced and sustainable approach to living a fulfilling life.

Sometimes, we wonder if change is possible.

Maybe you are wondering if you have to feel this way, shouldering the load for yourself and others to remain “strong.” Maybe you debate if reaching out to someone would actually help, or if it’s better to keep swallowing the guilt and shame that surrounds your sadness and anxiety. Maybe it feels like the past and the present are too overwhelming, and you aren’t able to find the motivation and energy that you once had.

The truth is that you don’t have to feel this way, and that you truly can become the person you want to be. As a therapist, I am passionate about helping you live a life that is not only more fulfilling, but that is more affirming to who you are as a person.

I believe in utilizing evidence-based practices to bridge the science and the art of therapy. In utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy, I center your emotions while integrating effective, tangible changes in thoughts and behavior to help you live a life that aligns with your values. I also ensure that you and the identities you hold are not only affirmed, but empowered so that you can grow into your most authentic self. As a person of color, I know all too well about the stigma that can prevent mental health treatment, and I am committed to breaking down those barriers for all.

I have had the privilege of walking alongside clients to serve as a guiding support system as they overcame feelings of depression, anxiety, trauma, identity concerns, and more. Through centering emotions and the impact they have on our daily lives, you can expect to develop a deeper understanding of the impact your thoughts, feelings, and habits have on the way you feel. Whether it is developing insight into your identities, your experiences, or your relationships, together we can work toward crafting a life that you deserve. I can’t wait for you to reach out so that we can start our journey together
