Frances Findley
“Managing your emotions isn’t about being perfect. It’s the quiet return to yourself, over and over again. I believe healing is less about reaching a perfect state and more about finding a path back to yourself, moment by moment. Whether you're living with anxiety, depression, or the impact of trauma, your nervous system isn’t something that needs to be “fixed.” It needs care, support, and the right conditions to feel safe and begin to heal.”
- Frances

Frances’ Specialties:
Anxiety:
I specialize in helping individuals understand and manage the many ways anxiety can show up in daily life. Whether it’s constant overthinking, difficulty relaxing, or a general sense of unease, anxiety can be exhausting and isolating. My approach is collaborative and supportive, focused on identifying what’s fueling your anxiety and helping you build effective, personalized strategies to move through it. Together, we’ll work on developing tools for calming your nervous system, gaining clarity, and building a greater sense of ease and control in your life.
Social Anxiety:
Social anxiety can make everyday interactions feel exhausting or even unbearable. Whether it's speaking in groups, meeting new people, or simply being seen, social anxiety can quietly impact your confidence and connection. I offer a supportive space to explore these experiences without judgment, while helping you understand where they come from and how to challenge the inner critic that tries to keep you small and limit your opportunities. Through tailored interventions and gentle exposure work, we’ll build your self-trust and help you step into social spaces with more ease and authenticity.
Young Adults + Life Transitions:
The transition into adulthood can be messy, beautiful, and deeply confusing. I love working with young adults who are navigating identity, purpose, relationships, and shifting roles in the world. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next step, therapy can be a space to pause, reflect, and realign. I’ll help you make sense of the change, clarify your values, and move forward with greater confidence.
LGBTQIA+ Affirming Care:
I deeply believe in providing affirming care and celebrating LGBTQIA+ identities. Whether you're questioning, exploring, out, or somewhere in between, you deserve a therapeutic space where you’re seen and supported without having to educate or explain. I provide compassionate care for queer and trans clients working through issues like identity, relationships, coming out, community, or just everyday life. You are welcome exactly as you are.
Depression:
Depression can take many forms—feeling numb, disconnected, stuck, hopeless, or weighed down by emotions you can’t quite name. It’s not just sadness; it’s a disruption in how you experience yourself and the world. In our work together, I create a space where you can be honest about the hard stuff, while also helping you reconnect with your capacity for joy, meaning, and hope. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone.
Trauma:
Trauma lives in the body and mind, shaping how we experience safety, relationships, and even our sense of self. Whether your trauma is recent or long past, big or cumulative, I provide a trauma-informed space that honors your story and helps you reclaim your sense of power. Together, we’ll build tools for grounding, process painful experiences at your pace, and work toward a life where your past no longer defines you.
Become the most embodied version of yourself; take control of your life.
Life’s challenges, whether it's anxiety, depression, transitions, or seeking a deeper sense of self, can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face them alone. It would be my privilege to walk alongside you on this journey, helping you find balance and reconnect with your authentic self.
In my work, I strive to create a space where you feel truly seen and heard, where your experiences are validated, and your emotions are honored. I believe in the power of gently challenging you to step outside your comfort zone, so you can create lasting change and move toward a life that feels fulfilling and true to who you are.
I find deep satisfaction in helping others who feel lost, overlooked, or unheard. My goal is to offer a space of safety, where you can explore your truth without judgment, while cultivating the confidence to step into your own power.
When I’m not supporting clients, you can often find me spending time with my dog, traveling, or enjoying Taylor Swift’s music.
